Ent Puppet
For the final project in my into to stop-motion class, we could either make a set maquette or character maquettes, but I was more curious about the process of mold making and my professor, Devin, allowed me to explore that.
Gelatin Head
For the feature length indie horror film SLAY (dir. Anna Kotecki), I was the SFX lead. One of the scenes required an exploding head, so I created one out of gelatin.
Decapitated Head
Also for SLAY, I created a decapitated head that the characters find in a pool, in addition to various injuries throughout the film. [TW: gore]
24 Hours Animation Contest for Students
I collaborated with 4 other team members to create a 30 second animated short film based on a theme released at the beginning of the contest. We conceptualized a film that integrates 2D animation, 3D visual effects, and stop motion animation. I fabricated and animated these puppets.
